SPERO is the Latin word for HOPE…

The Latin proverb “Dum Spiro Spero” means “While I Breathe, I Hope”

SPERO Ministries was organized exclusively for charitable, humanitarian, and educational purposes, and specifically to;

…raise funds to aid in the development of self sufficiency for the poorest of humanity
…raise funds to aid in the improvement of living conditions for the poorest of humanity
…raise funds to aid in bringing the message of the Christian gospel solely via works to the poorest of humanity

• Cara Welch,  a woman on a mission to help poor single moms and families in the villages near Montellano, Dominican Republic, just finished her assignment there – providing business services to…        LaTienda, a fair trade art co-op serving a group of women in the Dominican Republic.  The 30 women make beautiful handmade items to sell in order to provide for their families.

• Helping Hands, a program we run in Hutto, Texas provides school supplies, coats, and shoes to kids in need.
